Another great day fishing offshore in Costa Rica. We caught this Blue Marlin about 30 miles south of the Los Suenos Resort and Marina. The day started off fast with many Sailfish and Tuna biting. It was a hot day in Costa Rica. The sun and fishing. There was medium size rolling waves most of the day and the water was very clear after we made it about 15 miles offshore. It had been raining the past few days and the water was very dirty near the river mouths.
This year there has not been too much rain yet compared with the previous years and it has made for some great fishing. There were about 10 boats leaving the Los Suenos Marina this morning at 7am. We got back to the dock about 4pm. Almost all the fishermen we spoke to today also had great days but nobody had a video like this of a marlin. We are going back out tomorrow again early in the morning. Headed back to the house we rented “Casa Sol in Vista Tres Bahia” to make some fish tacos. We have a personal chef waiting for us to deliver the meat.
